The first task in this year was to make a trust bridge by using match sticks and glue gun with a partner. We took around 2 weeks to make it, and after we made it, we tested the bridge by hanging heavy balls under the bridge.

First, we drew a design of the bridge on a paper. To make the bridge, We designed three different parts, for the top, side and bottom parts.

And then, we stuck the little matchsticks together with a glue gun by using the design we’ve drawn. This time, we didn’t have enough time to make the top part, so we changed the design a little bit

After that, we stuck all the parts together to finish the bridge.

I would our result wasn’t that bad. it didn’t hold the heavy ball for long time, but It didn’t break as much as i was expecting.

Next time, to improve our result, we could make the roof for the bridge to make it more stable.
